Each new sunrise allows us to stand in gratitude and inspires giving. -- Elizabeth Trinkaus

Sunrise, Mighty Isis Club Retreat, Duck, NC ~ March, 2008
Part of our Mission is to "help young women find their Mighty Isis within". What better way can we really be
Mighty Isis Club members, than to give back our wisdom and resources to the next generations of women? Through workshops and retreats, our goal is to pass on tools that build self-esteem, enhance the belief in
oneself and one's dreams, add magic to that blazing essence within, and inspire a truly mighty life.

Mighty Isis Club is supporting the Girls On the Run by donating $500.00 for water bottles for their 5k Run on April 19th. Girls on the Run is a life-changing character development program for girls ages 8-12 that uses running to teach values and a sense of self. The program combines training
to participate in a non-competitive 1 or 3.1 mile walk/run event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts and a community service project. For more information go to the Girls On the Run website: www.gotrtriangle5k.org.
We are also supporting Dress for Success. The mission of
Dress for Success Triangle NC is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by pro-viding professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
The Club collects gently used suits and accessories at our monthly workshop meetings and are planning
speaking engagements to offer self esteem, life enriching tools for these women. For more information about Dress for Success, go to their website: www.dressforsuccess.org/trianglenc.
I know I have found my Dharma. Magical things happen. Lives are changed. And we get
to give back to our local community. I think I’m in heaven. -- Mighty Isis Club Member
The Mighty Isis Club will continue finding ways to work with schools, the Girl Scouts of America, Girls Clubs, community organizations, Oprah's School for Girls in South Africa -- wherever we can collaborate with young women-in-the-making.
I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver. -- Maya Angelou |
